#Playmaste: Yoga, Music, and The Perfect Tight To Find Your Inner Warrior

In between leading the perfect yoga flow and their downward dogs, we caught up with Arielle McFadden, celebrity private yoga trainer and instructor, and Nicole Sciacca, head instructor of the musically powered yoga studio Playlist Yoga, to talk about their biggest accomplishments and workout style.
What is your daily morning routine?
I wake up before my alarm 99% of the time and go straight to my kitchen. Some mornings I will start with a 20 minute meditation or I will jump right on my mat for a 10 minute flow. Then again, some mornings I'm sprawled out on the floor playing monster trucks with my 3 year-old son Beau. The routine is always evolving...minus the coffee. Let's not get crazy.
What is your biggest accomplishment and why?
My biggest accomplishment is getting to know myself over the past three years: I got married, opened a business, got pregnant, had a baby, made the painful yet necessary decision to end my marriage and close my business. The roller coaster of life is never going to slow down, and we have to accept help or put our big girl pants on when life demands it. I took big scary leaps and each lesson, albeit exhausting, was in it's perfect, divine timing.
Where can we find you when you aren't getting your #playmaste on?
In my car... okay I'm partly kidding! I am frequently at the basketball park with my son pretending to teach him how to throw a free throws. Thank goodness he is too young to realize that I have no idea what I am doing! I also love to take a quick trip to the beach for a sunset, scope out museums, or take in a movie when I have time!
What is your workout style?
I love to mix it up; I enjoy swimming or cycling classes for the music, the cardio, and the endorphin rush. Of course, I love yoga! After a serious back injury a few years ago, I've accepted that fitness isn't always about exceeding your limits, but taking care of the here and now.

What is your everyday mantra?
"I am more than enough." I end ALL of my classes with that mantra, and whenever I feel vulnerable or a little doubtful, I say it to myself. It is so empowering and calming. We are ALL more than enough EXACTLY how we are!
What is your favorite way to unwind after a long, hard, stressful day?
Well I think this may be an unfair question to ask a yoga instructor…it’s very rare I have “long, hard, stressful” days. On the days I am over scheduled or have a lot to do and get stressed out, I take a moment to enjoy the fact that I am busy getting to do something I love so deeply. That usually puts my stress in check. However, when that doesn’t do the trick: making time for SELF by going on a run or getting into a class is so deeply helpful. I love unwinding by sweating and moving my body.
What makes you "Flawsome?"
I think one of my most flawsome attributes is my sense of humor. I don’t take myself seriously and I don’t ever try and “prove” myself or “impress” people with anything more than just being my SELF. I have learned this past year that people respond to that more than anything else. To me just being my SELF.
Where do you wear your Vie Active?
I think a better question would be “where DON’T you wear your Vie Active?” I wear my outfits EVERYWHERE! It’s important as an instructor to feel confident in your fitness clothes, and to be able to wear them most of the day as you travel from classes to clients to errands to meetings. I can easily where my Vie Active gear all day, and then throw on a leather jacket, some nicer shoes, and head to a dinner without looking like I am still in my “gym/work” clothes. They are so insanely flattering, well made, comfortable, and sexy! I can’t get enough of them!
