THE VIE ACTIVE LIST
  • Sunrise or Sunset workout? Which do you prefer? Sunrise without doubt! I often lose my exercise mojo if I leave it to the afternoon
  • Typical workout: I try to go to Agoga to do a seriously intense HIIT session 3 times a week. On other days I either ride my bike or walk/run with my daughter in the pram. As much as possible, I like to combine staying fit with hanging out with my daughter. I think it's important for her to see that its something she knows we value and prioritise.
  • Typical breakfast: A green smoothie (some sort of greens, coconut oil, frozen banana, avocado, Vital Greens, vegan protein powder and almond milk) — a super quick way to make sure I get my superfoods in and this provides me with hours of abundant energy.
  • What’s your ultimate healthy meal? Raw bar for sushi in Bondi beach, Australia
  • What are your makeup must-haves?  My getting ready routine has been consolidated since having a baby and now is accomplished in about 5 minutes. Its a combo of tinted moisturiser with sunscreen, Bobbi Brown eyeliner, cream blush, mascara and YSL Touche Éclat to conceal under eye circles!
  • What’s always in your gymbag? My Vie Active Water bottle and my ipod!
  • Best active holiday you’ve ever taken:  Our recent family holiday to New Zealand was superb. We went hiking or biking every day and had amazing New Zealand wine at the end of each day to top it off! I would move there tomorrow...
  • What totally relaxes you? Hiking or having a bath with my daughter. No phone, no email.
  • What’s your biggest vice? Probably wine and chocolate! Though not the wine now that I am pregnant again :)
  • What was the last thing you recommended to a friend? Coconut oil! I swear by it!
  • What’s always in your fridge? Sparkling mineral water, coconut oil, sheeps milk yoghurt and probiotic powder (and avocados!)
  • What would we be surprised to find in your fridge? Chocolate and about 5 different types of jam
  • Your style icon? Jessica Alba
  • Your "healthy living" hero? My late father
  • The wardrobe item you can’t live without? Leopard print anything
  • The book on your bedside table right now? Freedom by Jonathan Franzen
  • Three things on your bucket list: Spend several months in Italy, Move overseas to a ski resort town, climb a big mountain
  • Your latest obsession: Green smoothies
  • Number one reason for living an active life: Energy!
  • Message you’d send to the world? If you’re not living on the edge you’re taking up too much room. This is something my dad always used to say and it really resonates with me. I truly believe that it is important to constantly push yourself outside your comfort zone - boundaries are only set for safety or from fear. Break down your restrictive boundaries and make a point of testing them. Push against them. Break through them! Find your edge and be FEARLESS, for every accomplishment starts with a decision to try. Be bold. Be audacious. Be fearless
