In honor of February, the month all about love, we're continuing to celebrate our theme of "Move Your Body, Love Your Body,' to inspire our community to make health and fitness a non-negotiable and workout because you love your body, not because you hate it.

We're sitting down with professional dancer, choreographer, movement specialist, and all around sweetheart, Katrina Amato, to find out what makes her move, who inspires her, and what songs help her find her groove!


What Are Your Fitness Goals?

To stay strong and flexible throughout my life. I want to be that 80 year old woman that kills it in yoga!

I've always admired Olympic athletes, especially the ones that handle their wins and loses with such grace. With Kerri, it's the way she carries herself both on and off the sand. She's a three time Olympic Gold Medalist, a wife, and a mother of three! She's a bad ass role model for all ages!


What Is Your Favorite Type Of Workout?

I usually gravitate towards group workouts where there is this feeling of support from everyone participating. It helps me stay motivated and focused, while pushing beyond my own limitations with others doing the same!

As A Dancer And Model Always On The Go, What Can We Find In Your Gym Bag?

Music (like the playlist below!), water, and protein powder. It's all about hydrating, staying healthy, and keeping up the positive energy!


Where Do You Wear Your Vie Active?

To the dance studio, auditions, the dog park, the grocery store.. I live in them!
