How To: Do A Core Building Plank Series

Planks are one of our favourite ways to build our core.

To do the perfect plank our tips are:

  • 1. Make sure that your wrists, elbows and shoulders are in line - no shoulders slouching back
  • 2. Make sure your neck and spine is in one straight line - no banana backs
  • 3. Squeeze your glutes and ensure your tailbone is tucked

Now that you have plank technique down- pact here is our favourite Core Workout!


  • 1 Minute Plank
  • 30 Second Side Plank Left
  • 30 Second Side Plank Pulses Left
  • 30 Second Plank Jacks
  • 30 Second Plank to Pike
  • 30 Second Side Plank Right
  • 30 Second Side Plank Pulses Right
  • 1 Minute Plank

Finish with an ab stretch, we like upward facing dog!
