Try the Trend: Juicing
Posted on 28 July 2014
Juicing has gained recent popularity by celebrities, health professionals and amateur healthies alike for it's health and convenience benefits. Magazines are populated with photos of celebrities clutching green juices as they leave the gym and most cafe menus now boast a variety of freshly pressed juice options.
There are endless reasons to love juicing as its a great way to squeeze in your daily fruit and veg requirements and eat those fruits and veggies that you normally wouldn't eat whole. The juice still retains most of of the vitamins, minerals and plant chemicals (phytonutrients) that would be found in the whole versions of those foods, it is the fibre that is removed during the juicing process allowing your digestive system time to rest and recuperate.
To spread the phenomenon that is juicing, we have put together a range of our favourite juice recipes that are fit for every occasion.
