The Solution: Single Leg Training. Single leg training is the best way to work your lower body to sculpt lean legs and get that perky butt you've been after.

Why: Single leg training has two main benefits. The first is that it evens out strength imbalances. By strengthening each of your legs equally not only do you get stronger overall but you also create balanced muscle definition...no one wants just one skinny leg. The second benefit is that single leg training adds an element of balance, stability and core activation. This activates your local muscles (the smaller muscles that are largely responsible for the look of muscle tone) as well as your global muscles (glutes, hamstrings etc.). Activating your core also means that you get killer abs and legs all at once...now who doesn't like the sound of that!
